Charles Zabriskie

Principal Advisor

Charles “Chuck” Zabriskie is an M&A and finance professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and structured transactions as a banker and corporate executive.  He is a consultant to corporations, financial sponsors and project developers providing merger & acquisition and finance related services primarily in the energy, infrastructure, and chemical sectors.

Chuck has advised on over $12 billion of acquisitions, divestitures and equity and structured debt financings for clients across a breadth of industries as a senior banker and business leader for UBS Investment Bank, RBS Securities and Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) while based in New York, Houston and Zürich.  Many of the transactions and teams he had led were recognized by “Deal of the Year” and team awards and represented innovation solutions.  While with UBS, he was Deputy Head of the Global Credit Committee, the first non-Swiss to hold this position at the AAA-rated international bank and later the first global head of project finance for UBS. Mr. Zabriskie was a founding partner of Acquest Advisors, a boutique investment bank in Houston, Texas serving clients since 2007 with strategic advice and capital raising capabilities. His transaction experience includes greenfield project development in liquified natural gas terminals (LNG), power generation, power storage, oil & gas processing and transportation, chemical processing and natural resources for industry leading and emerging growth companies.

In the energy industry, he served as a Senior Managing Director and head of 60-member Gas & Power Origination team at El Paso Merchant Energy, an affiliate of North America's then largest pipeline company. During 2018-2020, as a consultant to EQT Infrastructure Fund II, he worked closely with the executive team at Contanda LLC, a bulk liquid storage terminal operator, the Fund and its advisors on a broad sale process for Contanda, which was acquired by institutional investors advised by JPMorgan.

He holds a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University.
